Overview: Situated at the estuary of Yangtze River, Shanghai is not only the most populous and the largest city in China, but also a renowned city of history, culture and tourism. It is the biggest economic and financial hub and one of the most important industrial bases in China. It is an important center of commerce, trade and culture in China. Shanghai is also the most important port in China, and the third biggest port in the world.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Shanghai

Our guide and driver will meet you at Shanghai airport, transfer to the hotel. Visit Nanjing Road and Bund area in evening.

*Nanjing Road: China's premier shopping street, 3.4-mile-long Nanjing Road, starts at the Bund in the east and ends in the west at the junction of Jingan Temple and Yan'an West Street. Today Nanjing Road is a must-see metropolitan destination attracting thousands of fashion-seeking shoppers from all over the world.

*Bund: It was once the home of the foreign traders and major banks, with futuristic old European-style buildings, chic restaurants, top end shops and bars offer plenty to see and do- and by night it's magic!

* Overnight at Shanghai 4-star Hotel

Day 2: Shanghai

Visit Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. Then take a cruise tour on the Huangpu River, and the schedule is a full afternoon cruise (from 2 to 5:30pm).

*Yuyuan Garden: the most famous garden in Shanghai, which is decorated by beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes, bridges and rock formations. It is also a shopper's paradise for there are many small shops carrying everything from furniture to porcelain.

* Huangpu River cruise tour: A Huangpu River Cruise is one of the best ways to see both old and new Shanghai. As you sail down the river towards the East Sea enjoy the views of the full sweep of The Bund and the 21st century cityscape of Pudong. The two suspension bridges, Yangpu Bridge and Nanpu Bridge, are like two dragons crouching across the river, with the Oriental Pearl TV Tower encompassed under arches, constitute a painting of 'Two dragons play with a ball'.

Day 3: Shanghai-Home

After breakfast, transfer to the airport and see you off.
